The medium classic VegTrug is manufactured from 100% FSC certified cedar wood that is treated with a water-based preservative and also features six plastic feet covers, making it suitable for growing edible produce outside in all weathers. Perfect for all small spaces, the medium classic VegTrug is easy to assemble from the flat pack and is the perfect solution to growing your own in a limited space. It is the ideal working height for gardening without bending and compromising posture allows easy access for wheelchairs and also guards against pests and slugs reaching the crops. The unique shape means that you are still able to plant a variety of crops you can grow deep-rooted produce in the middle, along with shallow-rooted produce towards the front and back. Holding up to 420 liters of soil, the medium classic VegTrug has enough space to grow a wide variety of crops within limited space. A per-formed liner is included, this will aid in keeping the soil healthy and well-aerated to provide optimum growing conditions. The liner is self-draining and is designed to gradually bio-degrade over time.

I absolutely love it! My kids purchased the frame and cover for the early spring plants. My favorite thing about it is that it’s waist high, no more bending over and killing your back. I am already thinking about adding another next year!

Love it! Holds more plants then I thought it would, everything took quickly now waiting for fresh veggies to pick.

This is a large, good quality cedar product but it still took me and my power tool daughter several hours to assemble. That includes having to level the ground underneath in order to have a perfectly level veg bin. We also added 2 cement blocks under each leg to raise the entire operation, which is much more comfortable for my aging back. You don't want to be leaning over the bin if it's not tall enough so, consider putting it on blocks before you fill it with soil. You'll also need to chisel out some of the rounded screw holes so that the square headed bolts can be hammered into place.

Hi there, I researched several options and I liked the size of this box and the gray color which I felt would look better on our front deck. It arrived as planned in 3 days and was in perfect condition in its box. I was bummed the carrier didn't bring it up the 25 steps to our front door, which meant I had to do it, which meant rolling it over and over until I made it up the stairs. It was a work-out! My husband and I assembled it together and it took 1.5 hours. I think it would have been hard to do on my own. The power screwdriver helped a lot. The pieces fit together fine. We made a mistake and had to drill holes in one of the side pieces but it worked out. I couldn't quite believe it actually held 420 liters of soil so I only bought 4 large bags of potting/compost soil and then had to go back to the garden store to get 2 more! Love it and so far , so good!! See my image below! Very excited and happy with it at this stage!!
