    Customer questions & answers

Question: How does the inside door that the chickens walk through close? Is it the same latch shown in the picture or does it extend outside the coop?
Answer: If you are referring to the ladder that they walk up into the coop on, it does not close. There is a step in the instructions that just has you screw it in place. There are 2 doors. One by the window on the second floor and one to access the first floor.

Question: What is the chicken capacity of this coop?
Answer: Hello, generally, the chicken capacity of this chicken house is 2 chickens. But still please note that the buyer to determine the number of chickens that will fit in the coop, depending on breed and size.

Question: Can 4 silkies live in this comfortably
Answer: I think it would be a bit crowded for four. We purchased a larger coop for our four silkies. We have two Buff Orpingtons in this coop.

A very well built hutch. Ill be giving it some extra coats and sealing around the plastic panels so it'll last a lot longer but for the price it's a bargain.

This is a nice product. It is on the small size- Fine for small chicks prior to putting in large run. Just the right size for one full grown Silkie bantam

Very easy to assemble. I did add a few more screws to make it sturdier. I plan on painting the outside with a good exterior paint to make it last longer and not rot. The factory paint/ stain is not good enough for long term protection. I am very happy with it so far.

Instructions are easy to follow if u line everything out. Hens know it's home. After a week 1 of the hens layed an egg. Easy to clean with the tray. I would varnish the wooden frame as I did. Looks like it could go rotten very quickly being so thin and only painted. I got a varnish spray that does plastic too
