Customer questions & answers

Question: The outer chamber of the Voyage board has to be pumped to 3psi, but the pump does not register till 7psi. How do you know when it is right?
Answer: They are for stability not buoyancy so I just inflate them till firm and so you can still get a small indent when you squeeze them a bit like checking fruit for ripeness. If you are still unsure you may be able to find a low pressure gauge online. Good luck !!

Question: I would like this also for the kids to use on their own. Does the extra width make it more difficult to manoeuvre for a 12 year old for instance.
Answer: Our 7-year-old was confidently controlling our Bluefin Voyage on a lake this year. It's a large board for a child, but manageable.

Question: How fast is it in the water in comparison to other boards? And does it track straight? Or walk from side to side when paddling?
Answer: Really good board, paddles in straight line and very sturdy, even with a child on board with adult really steady And stable

Question: Would this suit a larger rider, say 120kg? I have used normal 10ft6 boards and found some a little unsteady for my weight.
Answer: The extra buoyancy from the ribs on the side would make it perfect. I’m 75kg and my daughter is 50kg and we have no issues at all, it’s very stable due to the extra side tubes, even on slightly choppy water, and my daughter is constantly jumping off the board and back on too 👍🏻

Question: How does does the voyager fit in the bag
Answer: I roll mine rather than fold it and put the bung back in after deflation to keep the air out. I also store the paddle in the side pocket to give me more space inside. Trial and error worked for me. Good luck!
